[Kundalini Yoga] Re: Mantra for laziness

I second the nabhi kriya recommendation! And if it feels overhwleming, try this. . .

instead of doing times as given, do exercise as follows:

exercise 1: 2 min
2: 1 min
3: 1 min
4: 3 min
5: 30 sec each side, repeat. . .
6: do 12 reps slow, then 12 reps fast

then relax. . .

but anyway, find something you enjoy and commit to a small sadhana. you don't want to tyrannize yourself, you want to gain confidence. someone joked about a 2 minute mantra for laziness, but that's better to commit to that and easily complete 40 days, than committing to a longer practice, dreading it every morning and being inconsistent. Even if you're fighting with your motivation over your 3 minute sadhana, at least it's only 3 minutes, and if you complete 40 days you'll feel a sense of accomplishment. It's horrible to tell yourself "Ok, I'm doing 40 days, 31 min. of whatever" and then not doing it. I know, I've been there, it feels icky! Better to build slow IMO. Pick something you know you can do.
