I would like to ask the group if they know of a set that is good for

I have struggle for years with this and doctors have not helped, I have try
some alternative doctors but I continue with this problem.

It has not been clearly defined as tyroid inbalance but I have all the
symptoms of hoshimoto, also had hormonal inbalanceces, and adrenal fatigue.

So, if anybody can recommend an alternative, it may be a kundalini set,
herbals, supplements, etc.... I would greatly appreciate it.

[Kundalini Yoga] prosperity meditation with "har"

 


Sat naam jis,

HHH to you! I am practicing a 47-day sadhana of the prosperity meditation (day 35 today!). I've used this meditation for years with great results ($$$!!!), and have completed a forty day before. But this time, I just found some different instructions than I'm used to:

...shows the thumbs crossing while palms are down, and an upward facing angle of the arms. This is new to me, before I was taught the forearms are parallel to ground, and no mention of the crossing of thumbs.

Do any of you long-time Kundalini yogis know the story on this change? In my 2001 Aquarian Teacher's manual it instructs the former way I mentioned, so it has been changed since then. I'd love to know more about the clarification of mudra & posture.

[Kundalini Yoga] Hormonal Inbalance Set?????

 

Hi,

I would like to ask the group if they know of a set that is good for hormonal inbalance, or tyroid inbalance.

I have struggle for years with this and doctors have not helped, I have try some alternative doctors but I continue with this problem.

It has not been clearly defined as tyroid inbalance but I have all the symptoms of hoshimoto, also had hormonal inbalanceces, and adrenal fatigue.

So, if anybody can recommend an alternative, it may be a kundalini set, herbals, supplements, etc.... I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi everyone,I started doing some yoga nidra at bedtime,it's supposed to be very good for regulating an equal amount of prana through the ida and pingala channels,giving a foundation for oneself before kundalini is awakened,what's signs will happen when your correct channels are open,or how will one know there open?

As I explain in the Inner Art of Love, Yogi Bhajan taught us to start
with the navel and the lower chakras. We create a base in the body so
that we have a foundation for holding higher frequency energies as our
Kundalini awakens. But at the same time, when we do the rootlock, we
focus at the third eye and allow the energy to move up the spine. All
Yogi Bhajan's sets involve the whole body and all the chakras, even if
there is a focus in one area.

<Thank you so much for your replies Guru Rattana and Paul. Your detailed
reply is a great help Guru Rattana. It's just that I was advised to
concentrate on my root chakra until is has opened and only then should I
progress to the next chakra

* the problem with this advise is that it doesn't work. It is like
saying concentrate on your liver until it is clean. But the whole
digestive system works together. And the idea that the chakras open in a
linear fashion is not accurate. It is not a one, two three, four
process. Its comprehensive.

* Chakras don't just open and then you are done with that one. They all
evolve into higher states and they are supportive of each other. It is
an on-going process for all our chakras.

* You can focus on one chakra for a while and work on cultivating for
example being in your body, connecting with the Earth (for first chakra)
, but you will soon be aware that no chakra operates alone. You don't go
to the gym and just exercise your legs.

< I was told I should do this rather than switch back and forth through
all the chakras. I understand what you are saying about monitoring our
progress, Guru Rattana, and I will do that in the way you suggest.

* When you focus on the awareness and different energies of each chakra
you can consciously monitor your progress.

Thanks namaskar,ive only recently started kundalini yoga so I'm not expecting anything yet,is there such thing as someone prematurly egniting kundalini,I mean what happens if she lets you know to early before your time as what must have happened to others who got into difficulty,I'm eating healthy and exercising and doing a workout for each chakra from the maya finnes dvds,do you think this is too much or is it ok,thanks

[Kundalini Yoga] New here

 

Sat nam. I have just joined this list. I'm very new to yoga. I am also 62 yrs old so I will be taking things slowly. I became interested after first listening to Amrit Kirtan and Snatam Kaur on Youtube. The more I listened the more I was drawn to find out about their spiritual practice and kundalini yoga.

I'm here to learn (and to question).
