Re: [Kundalini Yoga] Re: Kundalini DVD recommendation for a newbie

Dear friends,

I have also been doing this DVD for De-tox and destress, after having come across KY for the by accident while shopping on Amazon for books last fall. It too has changed my life, so much for the better and I am so grateful. Also, I would like to thank both Guru Rattana and Gordon as well as all of the other members of the group in contibuting to my development by reading your daily thoughts and pieces of wisdom. Being connected with all of you changes my perspective of time, space, being connected, as well as joy to my life. Thank you form the depths of my heart! Thank you for being fellow companions.

I look foward to becoming a bit more computer savy to follow the courses here on-line as well. This is a pending subject for this summer once I finish exams.

Sat nam to all!
Krista

Subject: [Kundalini Yoga] Re: Kundalini DVD recommendation for a newbie

I've just ordered this DVD. I came down with ME (often called CFS in the US) in 1985, though I've discovered that sleep therapy made a huge positive difference to my health, as does dealing with my emotional baggage - reducing stress and providing myself with actual help instead of just stewing in my over-active stress and immune responses is really helping. I'll be fascinated to see how this DVD works for me. Just doing the Kirtan Kriya and the meditation for a calm heart daily for the past 20 days has really made a big impression on me, helping me to cope much better with stress, which in turn has a big effect on my physical health.

All the best
Karen

Edit - Please note, this DVD, "Kundalini Yoga to Detox and Destress", along with many others, is available from Yoga Technology - www.yogatech. com

I was looking on amazon.co.uk for a good ky DVD & came across "Maya Fiennes Kundalini Yoga to Detox & De-stress", & I am finding it wonderfull. I am not very flexiable & am a total begginer in ky, yet just for doing this DVD for 2 weeks now I am feeling great benefits. I was worried I wasn't doing it correctly etc, yet just doing it every day has proven that this really works. The DVD is very good, Maya takes you through the exercises gently & explains them very well, with beautiful back-ground music. Hope this helps.
