Re: [Kundalini Yoga] Re: After-effects??

This is so true. I remember meditating and I relived the memory of when my family had to move and I lost my first best friend. The pain just floored me and I sat crying on my cushion. This friendship was when I was 4 years old and my friend was 5 and I'd wait for her to come home from school every day as if she was family. I thought I was over that one!!! omg...

Subject: [Kundalini Yoga] Re: After-effects??

Things might come up during and after yoga sessions. That's what I was told about K. Yoga.
It happened to me that a lot of anger came up when I did a session that worked a lot on the lower triangle. Anger that I thought I had overcome. Anger from my childhood.
I know people who go through long periods of sadness as well.
I think like this: it's just the garbage coming out.

There's a Brazilian song that says: "God gives you the coldness according to your blanket". You don't get more that you can handle, even though sometimes the feelings seem unberable.

Hugs!
Anderson

I've recently started to follow its practice, although I am quite in need of some assistance right now. My question is: HOW COME I GET IRRITATED AFTER FOLLOWING A YOGA SET? I created that routine after I researched about chakras and yoga. Most of these poses were designed to balance or open up some of my weakest chakra points, although they were all made out of assumptions, I'm afraid. Am I doing something wrong with my practice? I thought yoga was supposed to make you feel calm? In my case, I feel irritated and impatient following a yoga routine. Sometimes, I even feel a bit of antagonism. This becomes more and more prevalent in a couple of hours.
