Re: [Kundalini Yoga] After-effects??

I think that many people are confused about what a practice that leads to enlightenment entails. Practicing K Yoga is not simply a means to become happier "as you are" it is a technique that will paradigm shift you to connecting with your true self. The gap between these two is filled with the shame, anger, and fear that have shaped your "ego." That means that before the peace of connecting with your true self can be achieved (and it is a blissful place to be), you need to deal with being disturbed by the clearing out of all that junk. Mostly, it is shame and the anger and fear that it produces, much of it from childhood or other parts of your life.

Keep moving forward. Ask for guidance and follow it. Remember that having your life move towards wholeness is a gift and that your best interests are in the heart of the divine.

Experience what comes up, but remember it's not "you," but just the stuff you've collected along the way. You are the pure being at the center waiting to re-emerge.
