Re: [Kundalini Yoga] Releasing Toxins and Nursing?

Hello,

I may not be able to answer your toxicity question, but as a pediatric health professional, may I  ask why you  decided to continue breast-feeding  a 17-month old child?   Is your pediatrician  aware of this?  There are many psycho-social factors to consider when  nursing a child of that age. Do you have a plan in mind to wean your child?

Warmly, k

Hi. I'm very new to Kundalini Yoga (1 week) but have already experienced wonderful effects and am dedicated to continuing. I just have a question about whether regular practice literally causes release of toxins stored in the body. I am still breastfeeding my 17 month old and am just a little nervous about whether toxins are being released and then excreted into the milk. If anyone has any thoughts or information about this please let me know.

Thanks!
