You are there!  We try too hard.  We try so much.  If we only knew we are there.  We talk so much about opening chakras.  The chakras are constantly flowing.  They are there, open, we just need to become aware.  We try so much to meditate, to see the light, when meditation is there, the light is there.  To sit and rock your baby or to lie down on bed by her side...what a blessing!  Think about it.  What a meditation!  Or better yet, don´t think about it.  You are already doing a meditation that follows your Soul´s intention.  Just don´t think about what you should be doing.  While rocking your daughter (remember her Soul chose you) just tell yourself, or better yet, tell her that She is Your Meditation. Live in that precious moment, that blessed present moment, You and Her.  Remember, in her reality, She is You, all the way until she is around 18 months old.  So you should feel, in your reality, You are She.
 
Isn´t what the real meaning of the mantra God and Me, Me and God are One is?

But if you want some recommendations here are some:  You may do Yogic Breathing, Long Deep Breathing for a few minutes then Naadi Cleansing for a few, then just chant from your Navel and Heart Centers, any mantra.  What to chant for 30 to 60 minutes?  Wahe Guru.  Choose your Mantra, or better yet, allow Guru to choose.  Even better, allow your daughter to choose it for both of You as One.
 
My Friend, You are there.  Blessed be You and your Daughter.  There are millions in this planet that wish they had your blessing.
 
Yogi Bhajan said: "You are a woman because you are a balance between heaven and earth and you are the only balance."  " That you can give birth to a saint, you can be a saint yourself, you can serve a saint, you can marry a saint, you can da da da da da-those are qualifications, possibilities, chances.  The why you are a woman is because you are the only balance.  Creative balance between heaven and earth.  Have you ever thought that way?"
 
A beautifull blessing prayer he taught was:
 
"Bless me, bless me, bless me, Oh Great One.  In that One I may find myself, my environments, my totality and my reality.  The moon and the sun, the hemisphere, the atmosphere, all within me that of all the universes be Thy grace guide me to my fulfillment, gratefulness and happiness."

I must apologize if my frequent posting for advice is a bother. I sure hope it isn't. I have tried to commit to 40 days of a meditation. I chose one where you apply the root lock and repeat God and me, me and God are one with every inhale and exhale. Hands are in a mudra, but I don't know the name of it.

Anyway, yesterday was to be my 4th day. I have been doing the meditation at night before bed. By evening, I was sick with a headache and in bed. I completely forgot about the meditating. Now, I must start over with the 40 days. So, I was thinking that the meditation I chose wasn't a good one for that purpose anyway, I can't apply the root lock during my cycle, so that would knock me out of the 40 days. I'm also thinking that I need to start simple.

At night, I have about 30min.-1hr. where I am either rocking my baby sitting in easy pose on the bed and her in my arms, or I'm laying beside her as she falls asleep. I have to do this every night whether or not I'm sick, tired, whatever. This would be the perfect time to meditate. Is there a meditation that I could do while rocking my baby or laying down with her? I'm working on acceptance and being in the moment instead of constantly trying to push passed it, so something fitting for that would be great.
