[Kundalini Yoga] More Updates: 40 days

Again, I want to thank everyone for the encouragement and well wishes. I have decided that it will be impossible for me to keep up a 40 day practice of kriyas that is uninterrupted. I've decided to stick to the schedule I have now, and do the 5 days a week. I have been doing that since June. I have instead decided to do a meditation. I'll start with 3 minutes and work up to 11 over the 40 days. I should be able to managed that without a break. It would be very helpful anyway. Being a mother of small children is a position that I started out thinking I'd never be in, I know my path has gone this way because I have a lot of growing to do, and that growing will positively impact the lives of my children.

I'd love to ask a few more questions about some oddities of late. I have a wooshing sound in my left ear that is almost always there, but I tune it out most of the time. Sometimes it is aggravating. I recently had a CAT scan of my head that was normal, and it was for the reason of recurring headaches. Is there anything I can do to stop the noise? Also, nightmares, or in the very least extremely odd dreams have crept in lately. Lots of animal imagery. I'm part Cherokee, so that isn't surprising. As well, as not being able to fall asleep no matter how tired I am. Any suggestions there, and is this possibly part of the journey to healing?
