Ups, sorry, I had vacations and missed your answer :)
No offence but everyone creates his\her own reality. If you believe the Universe doesn't always support you, then it doesn't and it's your reality. My reality is different as I trust the Universe and it always supports me. There is no right or wrong, you can disagree because it doesn't work this way in your case, but this approach proves to be true for many other people. Yogi Bhajan was saying "Keep up, and you'll be supported" and Jesus was saying "According to your faith it will be to you". So you can blame high prices and stay frustrated, or you can decide it's too expensive and just give it up, but you also can get what you want if you release your resistance and allow it. However, it's just my experience which can be different for everyone else.
