Re: [Kundalini Yoga] Re: meditation recommendation

The triple mantra is also an ultimate protective mantra. Your fall could have been so much worse. Wahe Guru!!!Deva Kaur

I'll check it out!

Something really strange happened to me with a recommendation Guru Rattana made about a month ago on this forum; I'm not sure it's related. She suggested Triple Mantra for clearing blocks, and I thought I'd give it a try, too, since I've been deeply feeling stuck in some kind of a rut. Within a week, I had a lovely sensation of energy moving up my spine early one morning, and felt wonderful for several days. Then, at day 16 (13 days ago), I took a spectacular fall on a short but slippery wooden ramp, totally unexpectedly and landed on my tailbone HARD. A microsecond later, the back of my head hit and I could feel the shock reverberate around to my forehead. The ramp isn't steep or normally remotely dangerous (maybe it has a 6 inch drop), but it had been raining for a week, become slimy, and I was distracted by my dog barking at the front door. The first thought I had was, "Why doesn't my head hurt more?", and I realized it had smacked the wood ramp and
not the concrete floor of the garage. A wave of gratitude went over me while I laid there for a while trying to figure out how badly I'd been hurt. Then I sat up, trying to figure out if I'd broken anything- my hips were achy, but apparently okay. (Talk about free osteoporosis screening the hard way.) Well, time is passing, my tail is still sore enough that I'm still taking aspirin; so I'm wondering, did I have a root chakra block removed, or am I the fortunate receiver of protection for what might have been a mortality event? The whole episode was just so odd.
