[Kundalini Yoga] Re: Protecting Your Neck

Kelly, maybe you should give your head a rest for a couple days and work in some other exercises instead, just to rest the neck. There are some kriyas that I can't do everyday or they make me sore or out of whack. I think maybe you're just overdoing it. You could also try just slowing it down some.

Particularly, the cat/cow where the head moves from tucked to flex with the rounding and scooping of the spine along with the extension and drawing in of the leg. I feel like a heavy metal headbanger when I go as fast as my body wants to go. I've noticed this kriya seems to burn out my anger. It brings it up and takes it right out. Really emotional. I've had a headache for a few days now, and my neck is really sore. Can I modify, or should I just push on?
