[Kundalini Yoga] When do you pull Mul Bhand?

Sat Nam fellow Yogis and Yoginis,
I'm finding a lot of confusion on this question. Many newer
teachers/students don't apply it unless it explicitly says
so in the manual. Much gets loss when trying to translate an
oral tradition into print form. Dr. Siri Atma in his "Waves
of Healing" says apply it unless it says not to! That's what
I, and many others, learned.

Breaking it down......
First three chakras correspond to the senses of Smell, Taste
and Sight.

We Mul Bhand to consolidate the energy and draw it in from
the sensory self/vata (see below video) and bring it back
into our core (prana). Do this after each posture when you
inhale, as I was taught in the 70's. We cultivate bring
stillness to our being by doing this. No need to go around
the world to find a cave to retreat from the world. Just
close your eyes and pull the oneself into the root.
