Not sure what is your status but I feel that you will get your guru without physical search. Keep meditating and try requesting through meditation. When your time comes you will get your guru.
I strongly feel that you are not ready right now. Till the time you get guru keep doing what you do now.
Keep in touch, I am also in quest to find my guru.
