From the worlds point of view is exactly what they are predicting will happen in 2012, (the disasters) but....I believe it will be about energy shifts in consciousness as I stated below that portion of the post :)-
I don't know WHEN but I do know it is much needed and I hope I am alive to experience it, if I am not then maybe I will reincarnate again to live it.

From what I understand -- and this is from many sources -- 2012 is a time of
"change" -- and as we all know, not everyone is comfortable with or likes
change. It may or may not be a polar shift (which has occurred before) etc.
... and/or may just be a change in consciousness and "world view" -- for
example, think about the reaction if we had "first contact" with a race from
another planet/solar system -- that would be a change, and there would be
very diverse reactions to it.
but also, from what I've read, in the year 2032 there will be world peace --
true peace. So first the change, then maybe the growth mentally and
spiritually, then peace. And I plan to be around to enjoy it. ;}
