Re: [Kundalini Yoga] Menopause and KY

Greetings,

I practiced and taught Kundalni Yoga throughout my menopausal
transition with no ill effects. There were times when breath of fire
felt too intense and I either used a slower paced more expansive breath
of fire or substituted long deep breathing. Pay attention to your own
body and it's sense of what is supporting you. Listen to your own
wisdom. Embrace and explore the shifts in energy, the physical,
emotional and mental changes you will undoubtedly experience. You can
maintain even increase your strength without pushing yourself by
redefining what strength means to you. This is a wonderful time to
meditate and chant. Celebrate your journey into your wisdom.

Sat Nam,

Joan
