[Kundalini Yoga] Re: getting out of bed early

 

Sat nam erin,
Perhaps you could try just getting up - not doing yoga, but just getting out of bed. And after you do that a couple of times, then get up and do yoga.
I understand about beating yourself up and feeling disappointed.
I'm thinking - try to find a way to make it easy on yourself to get up.
I finally have a consistent practice. When I started I did an easy set, cuz I knew if I had a difficult set, I would use it as an excuse to not do anything.
So somehow can you make getting up easier - maybe reward yourself with a good breakfast or a nice read or a walk, or whatever gives you pleasure.
