Re: [Kundalini Yoga] KY for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

 

I have a been dx: De Quervain Tenosynovitis of the left wrist since 2/2012. I have noticed a bony knot on inner aspect of wrist and my thumb area is very tender. Xrays show no fx. Is there any tx or exercise to strentghen this area ?

>I was given a solution to this problem.  I was told that if you stand upto a wall, put your hands straight up against the wall, palms facing up.  Turn your hands 90 degrees inwards so they are facing each other.  Your thumbs should be nearly facing the ground.  Just wiggle your thumbs for a few minutes back and forth and it should rectify the problem within a few weeks.  Do the excersise everyday for a few minutes when you get time.
