[Kundalini Yoga] Re: Disbalanced hormones ,high LDL,Back pain

 

It is not unusual for patients with Hypothyroidism to have a weight problem which is hard to deal with without treating the Hypo. One thing with Hypo is that your energy go down real fast as well, since your adrenals is exhausted. To beat that (which is the most important thing to do), you need to reduce the stressors in your life.

When you see your doctor, make sure s/he takes a good look at your adrenals.

Relax when it comes to your weight problem, since it can be a side effect of Hypo. Once Hypo is treated, this problem will be much easier to solve.

When it comes to kriyas, I shouldn't put any strain on my body at this point - not even kriyas - as they may function as a stressor on your body. IF you have Hypo or adrenal fatigue, your body needs to rest. Slow and short walks along with meditations that focuses on the Thyroid. An alternative to actually do the kriyas - which I don't recommend - is that you set aside an amount of time in which you imagine you do the kriya.

My suggestion is that you do Kriya for Metabolism and relaxation (http://www.shaktakaur.com/kriyas/for_metabolism_and_relaxation.htm) MENTALLY until you are well enough, along with Yoga Nidra, which will give you a very good relaxation. The Stress set for adrenals and kidneys (http://www.shaktakaur.com/kriyas/stress_set_for_adrenals_and_kidneys.htm) should also be working well for you.

When it comes to meditations I think - at this point - you should concentrate on healing your glandular system. Here is what I recommend:

I am sorry if you don't get an answer to your initial question, about a kriya for your weight, put at this point I think you should consider letting that issue go, at least until you have your glandular system under control.

Have you talked w your doctor about your pain in the chest area and your concerns, due to how you lost your father? If not, then do so. I also suggest you seek out a homeopath in Hong Kong, I know (since I googled it..) there are several of them there. If you can't afford it, I will call my homeopath for advice that I can pass on to you. Until you know more about your condition from your doctor, I strongly recommend that you rest as much as possible. I understand that to be difficult w two small children and a demanding job, I am in that situation myself, but try to find the time where your mind and most important, your body, can relax.
