Sat Nam!
My name is Janine and I'm also new to KY and so far am getting a great deal out of it. I appreciate the website and this group as both are helping me learn a lot.
I have a few questions and wondered if anyone could help.
Why do some of the exercise end with a root lock and others don't?
Also, I've read that you should do a kriya for 40 days - I've been doing the Exercise Set for Maintaining a Flexible Spine for about a month - I missed three days but took KY classes on the days I missed. Do the 40 days for the same kriya need to be consecutive? Do you move from one kriya to the other on 40 day intervals or can you do a different kriya each day?
Finally, I've been trying the Sat Kriya but don't understand how to breathe while continually chanting.
