Sat Nam,
Prevention, they say, is the best cure. We make our habits, and then
our habits make us, is what we're taught as yogis, anyway. Make it a
good habit of deeply setting your navel point on a daily basis, and then
continue to relate to your navel throughout our day. Our relationship to
this area of our being didn't stop on the day the doctor cut our
umbilical cord, where we were nourish in all the ways we needed for the
first 9 months of our being. That relationship just became more
energetic and *psychic* as in a deep knowing. Our biological Mother was
replaced by the Adi Shakti or the Mother Earth. The Taoists call her the
"Great Integrity".
We run into Adrenal problems when we 'push', when we try and compensate
for that lack of connectedness to our source or core energy. Caffeine
use being the most obvious expression of the lack.
Do the set a lot but have a conversation/
What I've gleaned from Chinese medicine folks is that Kidney meridian
issues take a while to correct. Keep at it. Understand, too, the
absolute important of breath and in not holding tension in the
diaphragm, and being open to our emotions as these blockages clear at
the heart level. This flow of prana is what will nourish the Kidney
Meridian and is the habit that will effect a permanent cure, and not
simply a fleeting buzz.
Sat Nam,
Dharam Singh
