> I'm just starting out in Ky and am wondering if I am doing things right. First off, what pace should I be moving at. So far I have taught myself the 4/4 Energizing Palm and sis some silence exercises. The first time I did the Palm I didn't feel much, but he second time I really felt the effects. And I also felt the effects of the early morning silence exercises. Should I be worried if I don't feel anything after an exercise?

Sat Nam, Aushaud,
With a little paragraph like that, I do not think it is rambling - more like you are uncertain, and you wish to be more certain. Yes, wondering if one is doing it right is common at the beginning of practice. It will ease with time. I used to worry if I was doing the right exercises for me, because it seemed that I needed them all, and it was confusing which ones to start with. Y.B. said that if he could only give us one Kriya, it would be Sat Kryia. So, I did that. Then I went to some local classes, and I asked the teacher there how I could best get the kundalini current to rise in me. She told me the Kirtan Kriya. So now, I am doing both for a 40 day period. The thing about these exercises is that we may not feel something right away, and then again, we may feel it only once, and then not again for a long time. I guess what I am saying (and have been told) is that the experience is so individual, that we simply can not compare one to another, and we must trust that what we need, is evolving within us. Trust in spirit to guide us, (if a teacher can not be found)and we will eventually be clear as to which exercises to do right now, as all of our questions are answered by spirit in due time. I congratulate you on having felt the effects of your practice. There will be more and greater. Trust in yourself and in spirit - you will find the way - but maybe not everything right now, this minute - it takes time, but you are on the right path, and doing the right thing. You will figure it all out perfectly in due time.
Peace be with You,
Serena
