That's interesting... I didn't know they were, and I had been toying with the thought of teacher training some day. I have several DVDs where the teachers do not where Sikh garments, and some of those teachers even have spiritual names.

I have thought of wearing a turban during practicing myself to keep my hair out of my face, though I know for religious and spiritual purposes there are much greater reasons.
