A Nabhi kriya is very good for this, and it maybe possible with a teenager just to say "do this for nice abs", and in reality will givce them the naval strength they need. http://www.spiritvoyage.com/yoga/Kundalini-Yoga---Sadhana-Guidelines,-2nd-Edition/Gurucharan-S.-Khalsa-PhD/BKS-009056.aspx has the nabhi kriya, and Ravi Singh also has a DVD for Naval Power which incorporates this kriya.
