Dharam Singh saved me from giving up on a 120-day sadhana towards the very end, because I had missed one day. He says you actually have 72 hours to pick it back up. I just doubled up my practice the next day to make sure I performed the meditation 120 TIMES in that period. It's sort of like certain types of medication that way. I didn't look through the old threads, maybe there's more about that in there...
