Dear Paul,
Thanks for the distinctions between Teachers of Yoga and Biblical Scholar. I get it how Biblical scholar look at it differently than Yoga teacher, but we can look at the following conclusions from the Chapter in REVELATION.
"> contexts are the same, that the meaning is. To say Jesus was referring to
> 'third eye' experiences in the phrase cited requires supporting evidence, not
> mere assertion. The short answer to Shambhu Nath's question is "not excluded,
> but not likely".
Those who know Kundalini Yoga, can see that Reveleations is the process of creation and then going back to creation. However, again that will be yogic interpretation. The Biblical interpretation of Revelations is not possible with out knowledge of Kundalni Yoga. Jesus said(In John's vision, "King James Bible--
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
If you compare it what LORD KRISHNA also said in the Bhagavad Gita
" --I AM THE SOURCE OF ALL SPIRITUAL & MATERIAL WORLDS.
EVERYTHING EMANATES FROM ME [GITA 10:8]
EVERYTHING IS BORN OF ME. I AM THE ORIGINAL SOURCE OF ALL. NO ONE IS ABOVE ME [GITA 12:6, 7]"
I can keep going on, but the Revelations and Kundalini yoga start to converge when Gita and Revelations are read side by side.
Thanks
Shambhu
