I have a been dx: De Quervain Tenosynovitis of the left wrist since 2/2012. I have noticed a bony knot on inner aspect of wrist and my thumb area is very tender. Xrays show no fx. Is there any tx or exercise to strentghen this area ?

Just wiggle your thumbs for a few minutes back and forth and it should rectify the problem within a few weeks. Do the excersise everyday for a few minutes when you get time.
