The first time I wore a turban 25 years ago, my third eye buzzed for
days! I later found out that the wrapping works with the meridians and
focuses the energies so as to make one more intuitive (allow a level of
functioning from a higher place), among other effects.
It will hold the adjustment [from your practice] to the cranial bones
throughout a good part of the day and it keeps the subtle from just
"evaporating" into space. I liken it to the lid on a pot of stew, with
the lid off we'd lose a lot of flavor.
