Yes, wrapping the head (turban style) does apply pressure to "pressure
points". Also, I noticed, when I was practicing the morning chant (ek ong
kar . etc.) that I actually felt my cranium shift somewhat - head wrapping
will contain that too - our skull is NOT one solid piece of bone, after all.
And a friend and fellow teacher says that she has gotten a headache when
practicing w/o a head wrap, so she always uses one, even during her own
practice.
