Sat Nam Kat!
We all choose our paths, most of the time the wrong way. We all choose our company, mostly the wrong way. We all choose what we think is our destiny, which has already been traced, and spend a lifetime seeking for the one fish in the ocean. But we are afraid to move through our fate. Our Soul moves in only one direction. No choosing! Be sure you are not moving in the direction of your mind just to prove something, or to prove somebody something. But if you enter this path with your heart leading the way, just like the caterpillar enters the chrysalis to brake through the pupa to become a beautiful butterfly, there are things you must embrace, or shed.
And since you mentioned it, companionship is not a relation but a relating. The relating has one purpose, for each one to help each other rise up into divinity and experience it, fully aware, while we are alive. There should be no other purpose.
I wish to the best in your enhanced Sadhana.
Blessings!
Adi Singh

Subject: [Kundalini Yoga] Hello!
I'm just dropping in to let you know that I have joined. I'm one of the
many yoga teachers living in Portland, OR. Just decided to pump up my
spiritual fortitude with more sadhana and japa in general. Today I woke up
far later than 3.5 hrs before sunrise (8), took a cold shower, put on all
white including head cover and did an hour of kriya. My basic goal is to do
both ego destroyer and kriya of liberation for at least 40 days. I live
with my non-yogi boyfriend and he made sure to make a snarky comment about
going all crazy with "a new religion"..... Wish me luck?
