Sat Nam ji ... congratulations for 214 days ... I am relatively new to this ... 3 years ... I would say that Yogi ji would say 'keep up and you will by kept up' ... to miss one day out of 1,000 ... what is that?  ... have some compassion for self and keep your eye on the big picture ... it is the daily habit ... and if you miss one day ???? .. forgive yourself and move onto into the next day ... 215 of 1,000 ... I don't think we need to take this quite so literally ... this is something I learned recently when a friend told me the story of doing a 90 day meditation in a level 2 module and she missed day 89 ... the lead trainers gave her the same grace and compassion ... and she received her certificate for completion ... and another example ... doing a 90 day yoga kirya and you find yourself unable to complete a day because the space cannot be created or do to severe illnes ... you can energetically do it by visualizing yourself in each asana and visualize yourself working through the kriya ... I hope this helps alleviate the sadness ...

Can you please explain what holding the space for them is.
What space?
And how do you hold space?
What are you doing for them that they can not do for themselves?

I do not understand penetration except when my lover penetrates me sexually? And it is seeming to me that sex is something a Sikh Khalsa does away with, lust being a sin? And yet when I am sexually stimulated I feel as if I have been gathering in and pulling in the energy of the universe inside of me and then when I orgasm it is as if I am giving birth to a creative explosion of energy star babies, kind of like a fireworks display except the stars do not burn out, and energy and peace are the result. I do not know what happens to these energy stars of love? If I pleasure myself in a limited amount in limited repetitions I seem okay. However to meet the repetative high demands of a spouse I end up feeling drained instead of energized and relaxed.

Is there a meditation to cope with sexual depletion of my energy so I can still serve a spouse?

Does attaining Khalsahood mean that I lose my desires for sex/lust/lower pleasures. If so I do not want to be Sikh. Is chastity energy sent elsewhere or dampened down or diminished really the best way to serve the highest good of humanity?

Sometimes I just feel like I want to climb inside my spouses skin and get deep inside and live there and I do not know how much closer I can physically get than sexual penetration.

Sometimes I think I am supposed to go live alone and give up men. They are like little children, so needy for companionship and to listen to and to bare witness to their activities and daily challenges, successes, temptations given into, temptations not even tried to resist. And then I remember, they are god and I am here to serve.

"Resistance is futile", says the borg queen. We were born assimilated and fightthe truth to our death. When will this buzzing in my head ever end? I can hear the other members of the hive. Silence is a lie. When did I die and go to heaven/hell on earth?

Am I born to suffer this insanity of never fitting in? I am all, so how can one pick one thing to be, one religion, one ritual, one healing modality, one personality? When I am overwhelmed with infinity and infinite choices that seek to paralyze me into submission.

What space, I do not want to be in my body and see insanity as a perfection that can only be changed to another perfection. So why change anything when it is already perfect?

Just Be.

[Kundalini Yoga] ...Yogi Bhajan about missing sadhana....

 

Sat Nam!

One of my students just sent me a text message telling me how sad and sorry
she feels since she has missed her sadhana: her goal was to arrive to 1000
days but yesterday she forgot to practice (she was on her 214t day)....

I'm asking those students-teacher who have been close to Yogi Bhajan if
they can remember something he said about it.... I guess that he was the
first to encourage his students, even when they missed their sadhana...is
there someone who remember his words? ...I'd like to share with this
student his words...

hi everyone,I was wondering if anyone knows a good kundalini teacher in Ireland,I'm practicing kundalini yoga from DVDs,I had a few lessons from a kundalini yoga teacher,but she was also in the early stages of beginning to teach so I'm really looking for someone who went through the full kundalini rising and who has a lot of experience,

So far my 3rd eye is opened and I see the energies with eyes opened and closed,when sitting in easy pose meditating I get chills or shivers starting from my base that goes to my neck or head,it only happens for 1 seconds,this happens a lot when I'm practicing yoga nidra,It seems that I have progressed onto this phenomenon of feeling the energy in my body that feels like shivers,

I've actually decided to stop doing kundalini yoga until I can find a proper teacher because if I get a kundalini rising I won't really know what to do which is scary,not many experienced teachers in Ireland it seems!

Sat Nam, If you are not sitting in a chair during a Kriya, try sitting on folded blankets so your knees are lower than your hips when cross-legged, if possible. Even if the knees are still high, tilting the pelvis slightly forward (sitting on edge of folded blanket) will help.

And, of course, lying on the back knee hugs, rocking gently side to side (not forward and back), squats heels on the floor (holding onto something sturdy if need be like the edge of a sink), etc. to stretch the back muscles helps too. Gradually, the back muscles will strengthen and not be as tight when called on to support you – oh, and strengthening abs gives the back some help too.
