Sat Nam!
One of my students was invited to attend a Healing Ring of Tantra on a day
other than those stated in the Teacher Traning manual (as well as in any
other book in which this practice is described).
She told me that, according to the owner of that Studio, you can practice
the Healing Ring of Tantra even on the 1-2 days before or after the days
indicated by Yogi Bhajan.
She asked me for explanations and I said that I did trust the official
texts rather than the interpretation of a single teacher (if Yogi Bhajan
mentioned just three days, I do take them as the good ones - Keep the
Teachings pure - also because they are special and highly respected days in
other cultures too).
Through further research I found this Article in the Library of Teachings,
"UCLA Advanced Class # 16 - Healing Ring of the Tantra" -
http://tinyurl.com/ltpghgz , where Yogi Bhajan indicates three days, i.e.
Full Moon, New Moon, Ekadasi of New Moon, and then there seems to be a
reference to Sundays (never read in any other book) but was he kidding on
it? (students laugh... had Yogi Bhajan told a joke on that point?).
What do you think about it?
Thank you in advance :-)
Many blessings!
Sujan S.
