[Kundalini Yoga] Hair technology

 

Can some of you kindly share advice, opinions, and experience with YB's suggestions on hair?I've been growing my hair for a few years and am having a spell of wanting to pick up the scissors and cut off a few dry inches on the ends! The last time I trimmed was a year and a half ago, after my long braid landed in a bucket of bleach water while doing some cleaning, and I'd almost made it the recommended 3 years of no cutting. So, what do you find is preferable- Untrimmed somewhat ragged ends or long hair with nice neat ends? I use lots of almond oil on those ends and they practically drink it up. While I don't wear a turban except in class, I do frequently wear it up. Of course there's always option 3, abandon the hip length hair and go more western. Bad hair days, I guess they can hit anyone.

your friend who experiences vertigo, is certainly under a great stress.
Maybe he lives a hard time in his life at the moment.
I can recommend to work on the area of the upper back, the shoulders and the aura.

Sat Nam , This happens to me off and I . It can be related to sinus. There are specific movements to do for vertigo. You can google them. Have her do these. It took me 2 weeks or more to recover. Also sleep as much as she can. Do not fight the vertigo. Relax and lay low and do the movements designed for Vertigo. Sat Nam Raj Kirin

ever since she attended a Yoga lesson (not Kundalini), about 90 days ago
(immediately after the Yoga lesson).

A little relief arrived after she visited a otolaryngologist and now she's
working with an ostopath, but the dizzy spells don't stop.

Is there something able to help her to move towards a solutions of this
important problem (anxiety and panic are side effects since she's not able
to live a normal life now)?

Simple meditations, easy exercises, mantra.... every suggestion is more
than welcome.

[Kundalini Yoga] Boosting Metabolism

May I know Kriyas to boost my metabolism and how many months will it take for the metabolism to become better

[Kundalini Yoga] starting Kundalini Yoga process again.

 

Sat Naaaam!

Last Oct I had completed 6 months of practically daily practice. 

One day I felt sad and so I stopped.

This was faulty reasoning. I was thinking: "why should I practice yoga if I am going to be sad?"

why it is faulty reasoning:

we do not practice in order to not be sad.

we practice in order to practice.


Now I know that. And how I got started again -

I was taking a mindfulness meditation class. One exercise is called 'body scan'. you put your attention on your feet, then your ankles, so on up to your body. just place attention, notice. 'what do you feel?'


well.. I felt nothing! anywhere.

It was very upsetting. I felt like all this time I have been carrying a dead body around with me. My head is alive but my body is dead. 

So - two days after, I re-started my Kundalini Practice -

guess what?

My body is singing. Yes, Kundalini Yoga makes my body sing.

(if you are wondering what it sings, it is something by James Brown, lol)

And it is hard to be depressed when the body is singing.

A friend of mine just told me that she suffers from dizzy spells (vertigo)
ever since she attended a Yoga lesson (not Kundalini), about 90 days ago
(immediately after the Yoga lesson).

A little relief arrived after she visited a otolaryngologist and now she's
working with an ostopath, but the dizzy spells don't stop.

Is there something able to help her to move towards a solutions of this
important problem (anxiety and panic are side effects since she's not able
to live a normal life now)?

Simple meditations, easy exercises, mantra.... every suggestion is more
than welcome.
