[Kundalini Yoga] Re: I got hurt by a non-Kundalini yoga teacher

Hi -

I am not sure what movement will help the pain, not sure anyone can answer that without looking at you at feeling it. But from the tone of your posting, I will make a guess that one thing that will help is an attitude of forgiveness. I hope this doesn't sound harsh or judgmental, but if you are holding on to anger it may make the injury last longer. I'm sure there are kriyas that can help with forgiveness. One thing that works is EFT. You can learn on you tube if you search "eft forgiveness". Or whatever works for you.

Blessings and quick healing.

Re: [Kundalini Yoga] How women gains stability / consistency?

Sat Nam!

How great that you have asked this question. I have been working with
women on this issue since 2001, when I found the answer inside my own
inner reality. This is one of the important themes in my newly released
book 'The Inner Art of Love -Awakening Your Heart with Kundalini Yoga.'
www.yogatech.com

You will find the answer to your question -

>how can woman make herself more stable, and less fluctuating? i
understand woman is ruled by the moon, but we dont have to act out all
of the influences pressuring us.
how woman can learn to make more of a commitment, and what can i do to
help foster this state of mind in my wife?

Chapter VI 'Stable and Flowing Polarities' discusses the expression of
these two basic universal polarities in both men and women. We both
have both, but men are designed with more of the stable polarity and
women are designed with more of the flowing polarity. Both men and
women must cultivate a conscious relationship with both to become whole
and satisfied men and women. I also explain how to experience the
highest expression of both polarities. Both men and women will have a
great time working with the concepts in this book. Let me know your
experiences.

Buy her this book. :+) And encourage her to do the exercises and
practices. Subtle inner work is required, but it is well worth it. Every
women who has done this work has totally changed her life and improved
her relationships.
Developing a conscious relationship with our stable polarity is one of
the most empowering things that a woman can experience.

Many blessings,

Guru Rattana :+)

Re: [Kundalini Yoga] I got hurt by a non-Kundalini yoga teacher

thank you to all who responded with very good suggestions.

Very often adjustments are a very grey area and while she did ask about adjusting you before doing so, there was really no way of knowing exactly what to expect after you consented.  I myself at times have some issues with my own back so my best suggestion to you might be to seek medical attention, perhaps a very gentle and experienced chiropractor or your regular doctor/health consultant for advice.  If you are in that much pain it might be best to have it looked at so that you can determine what is going on before pursuing a course of action/treatment.  Much healing energy to you and my best wishes on your recovery.

I have a suspicion that this is not the 1st complaint she has gotten, by her reaction.
